The Citizen’s right department is responsible for the protection and promotion of human rights in the state as establish by the law. The department handles cases of human rights abuses by state apparatus (security agents etc). It also deals with issues between employer and employees bordering on the condition of service, human right violation, exploitation, and land matters, labour and employment etc. (Aqilu Abdullahi Adam Esq)
